too big for me, prob a medium/large...but looks nice i think...

These things are all over the place on eBay. It's the Topsman, invented by Pendleton in the 50's, though this one is a knock-off. I own quite a few (and have removed the pockets on all as the diagonal placement of the plaid seems too disrupting). The originals come with leather twist buttons.

^ What he said. I sold a Topsman last year, nice quality and details(I particularly dig the buttons). Fits boxy though, suppose a tailor can take care of it.

Correct. And it's a pretty simple side-take in.

Incidentally, I think the Beach Boys are wearing matching copies of these on their first album, the one where they're clutching a surfboard, pall bearer style, c. '61. Not positivve since I've not seen it since '61. (They had recently changed their name from the Pendletones, in homage to that great Oregon company)

These Paul Harden newspaper shoes look amazing!!! They are still pricey, but a pretty good deal, considering retail is around $1500+. The quality should be fantastic as well, considering he worked for John Lobb before making his own label.

eh, i'd rather beat my own shoes to look like that after years, rather than have someone do it for me...

Keep in mind the pattern in the shoes is the newspaper underneath the cloth showing, not distressing. Obviously they aren't for everyone, but this is a very unique pair of shoes. No amount of wear will ever create a shoe that is similar to these.

Yea, i like worn in and distressed looks. I don't want to have to wait 3-5 years to have something i want. Seems stupid to me.

Those shoes are pretty cool though and would look awesome in the right context. I think it's a sufu/sz member as i remember seeing a sale thread about it awhile back.
