it does look like a hooded peacoat my sister has one just like it but in grey.

Seems to me that calling a DB jacket that happens to have a hood a hoodie is a real stretch of definitions. It's a hooded jacket. A hoodie is a hooded sweatshirt or tracksuit top not a jacket!

Nooo I appreciate your answer! First thing i did was google it, though.

I can find 3/4 peacoats, but I can't find anything for men that is shorter and more of a 'sport coat' length.
