saw this bass on a website and thought some of you would like it too:

this bass reminds me of 'the artist formerely known as' prince.

Cf., the world's hardest guitar -- saw this thing in person at a custom knifemaker's show. Very impressive. Very scary.

Looks like something Prince would play....

I like my basses simple. A nice Eccleshall or Musicman in black....maybe a Rickenbacker...

why is it tacky? does everything ornate have to be tacky? should everyone shop at the gap?

i wouldn't call a rickenbacker simple. they are hideously ugly to me but i do love their tone. (and so does rick james)

i'm the one who mentioned prince, so i'll grant you this one. i still don't see why it's tacky. gawdy, yes, but in a good way. a louis XIV way.
