I own a few Coogi sweaters similar to the ones pictured here, was wondering if anyone else wears them, and also, can the silks be altered, after loosing all of the weight I did, they are quite long now, I love the 4 silk styles I have and am very afraid of who to take them to to have them altered to be shorter, I also own 2 cotton styles, and am not as worried about having them altered as the seams are different. But, the investment in the sweaters is too much to rid myself of them.

i do enjoy some of them. all though some of the rainbow colored ones are just plain awfull IMO. It would seem to be a daunting taste to alter one though. the weaves are very intricate. i wouldnt trust just any tailor with that job.

I have three. I wear them.

I can't imagine they can be altered.

(johnapril @ Mar. 31 2005,11:15) NO.
Ho to which question john, they cannot be altered or you do not like them or both?
I don't like them. I have never seen one look nice on someone, but that may be because I see them here in the Midwest, where most men's fashion choices are, at best, hopeless. Could someone post a picture of a "nice" coogi sweater?

That's the sort I've seen. That one seems to drape a bit nicer, however, though otherwise the appearance is the same as all coogis I've encountered. Personal preference: I like clothing so much simpler.

I actually like them. But, of course, the closest thing I have to one is a T-shirt with a picture of Biggie Smalls wearing one. Now we living better now, Coogi sweater now - drop top BM's I'm the man, girlfriend.

And the red an' black lumberjack
to match...

Great song.  I especially like his idea of a snack:

"Steak, eggs and cheese."  This right before a vigorous "workout".

Okay.  Biggie could definitely pull it off.

I love color. A coogi sweater is a chance to wear colors I otherwise don't wear.

They can be loud and obnoxious. I don't care. I love the colors. That said, there are many coogi sweaters I don't like. Two of mine are relatively sedate, in muted blue, brown, and linen tones. One is red and raucous. It's loud, and would likely make many folks here on the board cringe, but I love it.

i think they are definetly a more casual item, unless you have a solid colored one.

how do there sweaters fit? they always look to be baggy when i see them. if i take a medium in polo sweaters will the same go for googi, or should i go a size down? thanks
