There are lots but you are going to lose quality

I would probably just use VLC to do the conversion if it was a handful of files (since I already have it installed). There are more friendly interfaces out there if you google...but it is just going to cause quality loss (I would go to a very high bitrate to try to keep as much as you can)

I've tried quite a few of these and this is my favorite: http://www.koyotesoft.com/appli/Setup_FreeConverter.exe

This one lets you convert to and from MP3 WMA WAV OGG FLAC etc. and lets you adjust the parameters to adjust for filesize and quality. I converted a short colorado.MP3 spoken-word file to colorado.WAV format. The original WAV file output was 300KB but after adjusting to get rid of excess quality, I got it down to 25KB so I could use it on the web. You can listen here: http://www.gooplusplus.com/audio/colorado.html http://www.gooplusplus.com/audio/nevada.html http://www.gooplusplus.com/audio/oregon.html --- It's pronounced: Nevăda

How do you prefer trousers to be finished?

  • Plain hem

  • Cuffed (1.5 inches or less)

  • Cuffed (more than 1.5 inches)

  • No preference, as long as the proportions work
