Converting oz to grams/meter? 10 to 300?

Simple question. Would 10 oz be roughly 300 gram per meter? About right for a wool spring/fall suit?

Thanks

Yes, though more spring than fall, depending on where you live, and your tolerance for heat/cold.

Fall here is pretty mild. In a normal year I can manage with a blazer mid Jan to mid/late May. Then Sept to mid December. There will be the odd day with colder temps but mostly 50F would be a cold day. Of course this year was near record cold .

Thanks
