Has anyone tried converting a 6x1 DB into a 6x2?

I've a DB blazer that's a 6x1, and I was considering converting it into a 6x2. The current fit looks like it needs a bit of waist suppression, so I'm hoping that could work in favor of the conversion.

Also, the caveat here is that I'm not particularly tall, so I'm concerned that a 6x2 may not be a good idea. But I'm hoping that making it into a 6x2 could give it a bit of versatility (i.e. can be used as both 6x1 and 6x2) as oldog/oldtrix demonstrates.

Any thoughts/experiences to this end? Cheers.

Yup. The olddog/oldtrix link I included in my post is from that thread.

Unfortunately, that does not talk about converting an existing 6x1 into a 6x2 and if it's worth a try.
