1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

I have a love hate thing with my jack purcells...

I love the fact that they are so comfortable, but hate the sole which is clunky and thick. I love the new low profile options, but hate the fact that jcrew made them uber ubiquitous.

Here are my jack purcell low profiles.

Don't really like the extra toe thingy. Would probably buy a pair otherwise.

    Extra toe thingy?

Do you mean the extra 'layer', I guess you would call it, of the toe guard? I think that's what makes Purcells awesome looking as an alternative to Chucks...

What is that little slit in the toe? Does it shoot laser beams?

Mine are hi-tops. Fucking hell. It makes me not want to wear them. I'm considering getting a loop added to the tongue.

    Where 2 buy?

I did not know this would exist. A strange second chance for those who missed out?

Nords has them in black. That color looks a little sickly to me.

I mean what looks better with shall we say jeans?
I visualize that hi tops look better and give better support. SO i probably will get hi.

Are you wearing them with capri pants or how do you expect people to see the difference between low and hi tops when your jeans cover the upper part? [IMG]

I dont know what capri pants are, but sometimes your jeans ride up. And you can tell if someone is wearing hi or low.
Sometimes you cant though without looking really carefully.

But i notice girls love wearing converse. I think because they were given a mention in trinny and sussanah fashion book or something like that has got something to do with it. But they look good in them. And girls love to wear things they look good in.
