I am looking for suggestions on what to name my brand, and I thought with all the knowledgeable members on here and those fanatical about clothing that I might get some great ideas.

Important notes:
I sell made to measure suits in the Canadian market through a retail store and direct sales.
Pricepoints start at $600 for suits and go up based on cloth selected.
Target market is the working professional, 25-40, works in a business formal/casual environment.
House style is more contemporary with European influence than of other brands in market such as AJ, Coppley, Samuelsohn. Closer fitting throughout, sloped shoulders, with minimal padding, higher gorge and armhole.
Garment is full canvas with high quality finishing and notions.

Our mantra is "affordable luxury".

Name has got to be easy to remember and spell.

If you are the one who picks the successful name I will offer a free made to measure suit, from my range of stocked fabrics. You'll also have the distinction of having named a custom clothing company. You can either be fitted locally here in Toronto or you can give me your measurements over email.

Thanks and hope to see alot of suggestions!

_______ Custom Suits

Michael _______ Custom Clothing

With the blank your last name. I'd be wary of anything too catchy or cute, and I think putting your name on the operation signals to the customer that you stand behind your product.

It might be taken, but "Suit Up"

Some suggestions

1. Stick to a person's name (example: John W. Smith).
2. Don't make up the name, even if your last name isn't Anglo or Italian (it's cheesy).
3. No adjectives ('Fine' tailoring is rarely fine when it says so on the label).
4. No verbs.
5. If you must use the word 'tailor', make it 'tailoring' or 'tailors'.
6. "Affordable luxury" isn't a mantra, it's a cliche, and usually a lie. Anyway, nobody wants to be reminded that they're being cheap.
