1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Can midnight navy be used as a conservative business fabric, or is it too close to black?

a little off the topic post...after reading the entire thread, I can see why Manton is a highly-respected member (and sorely missed)...his posts are just hilarious and thoughtful...definitely from a perspective of a well informed/knowledgeable individual...

I don't know what "CBD" stands for, but they're acceptable in just about every situation.

I will say "probably not," because I suspect that they wouldn't meet Manton's standards. I also suspect you could probably get away with them in a lot of places that are a notch below pure-D CBD.
Thread title. Also, it comes up fairly often, at least in some of the threads I frequent.

Which of these are most conservative SELF patterns/ weaves on a Charcoal, Dark, Mid-Grey / Navy Suit for Conservative Business Dressing?

Especially for interview, new job, new formal client meeting? To err on the Safer Conservative side.

Hopsack, Sharkskin, Twill, Herringbone? - Maybe Rank them with > > > ?

Herringbone would be the best and twill maybe the worst, but a normal weave without a pattern would be much better for meeting new people in CBD.
