You are clearly NOT CONSERVATIVE. Those are not slash pockets. They are besom pockets. Enjoy your Armani, Eurotrash.

I don't know what your source is but ask 10 tailors at random what they think a "besom" pocket is and get back to us.

I have taken CBD to new levels of greatness (drabness) in recent weeks.

Not uniquely - you had on a tan suit in late September, IIRC. CONSERVATIVE? I'm not sure.

One on the left, no way, on the right, not really. But much, much closer.

Ok, let's say you are interviewing for a conservative firm, how non-conservative can you dress and not look like a jerk? How about a gray, or navy windowpane suit, white shirt, solid tie? Yay, or nay?

Windowpane for an interview strikes me as a seriously bad idea. Certainly, it is not CBD.

How about a solid gray, however... wait for it... SB PEAKED LAPELS?

    No.

SB peak lapel isn't CBD? Where does it fall then? At a minimum it is more formal than the notch.

It isn't about formality, it's about appropriateness.

You wouldn't wear a tux to a interview, would you?

A SB peak lapel is a bit flashy, not conservative.

What are people's opinions of cavalry twill navy fabric as conservative business dress? Acceptable, or not?
