If someone acts passive agressive towards you, treat them like a guy who might repeat the behavior again. Confront the person and don't back down. Most people aren't good at being confronted and will crumble quickly in order to stop the discomfort. He'll first feign obliviousness, then he'll accuse you of being paranoid. Ignore his insincere attempts at innocence and demand that he doesn't do it again. If he does, cut him out of your life.

+1. Just be an alpha and tell him to **** off. I think that Illuminati guy you quoted in your article is being a little too diplomatic. If someone gets in your face, tell them you don't like it. If you are scared of being beaten up, get used to being a beta.

Good thread; this seems to be an epidemic. I have been running across some of these passive aggressive twits of late.

What the hell is this about? If someone even dared to act that way with me I wouldn't bother talking to them again. I have 0 patience or tolerance for this

Illuminati takes it a step further; he suggests letting your other friends know that you don’t trust the frenemy. But be prepared. “You’ve got to have concrete examples of him being a douche,” he says.
So if you've got a problem with one of your "friends", the solution is to talk **** behind the guy's back?
