Confused About Alden Leydon Last

Hi friends. Curious to get folk's thoughts. I just bought some suede chukkas (Leydon 1492) in 11.5E (which are now for sale in the Alden FST thread) but they are a bit too big. I wear 11.5D in Barrie which is a great fit. I ordered an 11E which fits better, the left shoe seems a little loose around the ball area. I'm thinking of ordering an 11D to try, but I'm sure my right foot will feel a bit tight near the pinky area. I'm curious for current owners if the suede will stretch much there?

Also, it seems like most people go up in size from Barrie to Leydon, but for me, it's the opposite. I wonder why. Also including a Brannock shot here. My ball to heel is size is much larger than my toe to heal size just on my right foot.
