Cone Mills (last US denim manufacturer) is shutting down

Anyway, I want to get a pair of cone white oak jeans before they're gone, but I'm out of the loop on the denim world lately. Who is making good white oak jeans lately? Is the 1947 501 still the standard?

Tellason says they still have quite a bit of White Oak Cone Denim in stock:

I wonder how this going to effect high-end US producers like Tellason who will now likely import their denim from Japan. Will they loose some of their cachet?

Who sells Tellason in Los Angeles? Their website isn't that great. I don't think they list stockists.
