Condoms in the office?

Recently, my company had an event to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS. They distributed a clear plastic sleeve with a couple of pamphlets, a pen and a condom. Yesterday, I was walking around the office and I spotted one of those packs on a chicks desk. I thought this was not a good thing to exhibit in the office. So, is this something to ride her about, or should it be deemed perfectly acceptable to have a condom, or condoms, on your desk?

Looking for any direct experiences or something similar or worse.

I actually have this late 19th century burled walnut box from Shanghai that I keep my condoms in, by my bedside table. It looks so respectable and the wood is beautiful.

My condoms are MTM. Normal condoms don't 'fit' my poportions without alteration.
