Has anyone ever had a problem with their metal toe taps rusting out? Mine are starting to show small signs of rust. I was wondering if I should go out and buy some that are stainless steel (if such a tap exists).

Never had any problems. There is always a bit of rust during the wet season. Anyway, never had to care about, if that helps.

Same for me as for fritzl. They rust when its wet of course, but it has never caused any problem, they wear out before they fall apart from rust. The rust wears way when you walk with them anyway.
