Comprehensive store list

There is a store in Boise that I went into once, that had a wee bit of menswear that was decent. There is also a small sneaker store that carried Alife. I forget both of their names. Drives me crazy.

We are always talking about the stores we like, but what about those that you'd like to see with improved product, especially if you are in a small market, and they are the only brinck and mortar options available? I'm looking here for any store, in any market, that has some potential. Maybe just one brand. Maybe no brands you like, but with looks that you can subscribe to. Or it could just be a store that seems to be overlooked somehow because other stores are mentioned more. For example, Jean Therapy in Boston is nearly never mentioned, nor is the Achilles Project, nor Concepts in Boston, but I talk about Alan Bilzerian, and Stels is always talked about.

Bows+Arrows here in Austin, TX is the only independent carrying SF approved brands (mostly Rag and Bone, APC). Wish they carried more...EG, more denim, better shoes..

dallas doesn't seem to have much to choose from. i just moved here but i found a store called LFT and went to check it out and they had rag & bone, RRL, Gilded Age, Oliver Spencer, PS including Red Ear dry denim, NiCo and some other cool stuff. i got there just in time for the left overs from their 80% off going out of business sale...

at least we have barney's. for now...

Service menswear in Austin is OK, but in the last 5 years I think the place has lost touch and hoarded a fuckoad of graphic tees...it's sort of like Barney's Co-op Lite.

Thanks man. I will try to add once I figure out how to use that thing. See, everyone knows stores in San Francisco, and LA (though there are lots of hidden gems in LA because it is so spread out), New York, and so on. To a lesser extent, people know the stores in markets like Boston, and Vancouver, (though there are a number of places near Roden Gray and Dutil that I have been in whose names I have forgotten that carry anything from Maharishi to Simon Miller).

But what about the OC? I know that there are a few decent shops in San Diego and I know a few places in Portland (Blake, but also Dresscode and a few others, none of which are to my tastes as much as is Blake.) Is there any shopping to be done in Charlotte (there is a good women's store that I know of - Worthwhile)? New Orleans?
