Chiropractor opinion/treatment. Yoga with a gentle instructor... perhaps private lessons. Add a mat Pilates class... again, consider private lessons. Start walking when you can... it's the easiest, quickest, and most versatile aerobic exercise. Don't know if you can use any sort of gym bike. Leave the weight-training to a later date... and begin with a private trainer. Take it all slow but just try to keep going week after week. Only you will be able to judge how much to do each week. All best wishes.

That's probably the best post in the thread. With optimization of nutrition (including B vitamins and omega-3 ***** acids for mood support) and also sleep, a gradual reduction in medication might be possible and regardless some weight likely will be shed. A doctor can check the thyroid and anything else. The exercise part is tougher, given the physical limitations. Maybe a return to physical therapy is needed. Seated, lightweight upper-body exercises and isometrics might be safe and doable with or without that.
