hey i was wondering if some of the members here could give me input regarding the fit of the following products, if they've tried them on, owned them, or just know about them.

i'm looking for a simple t shirt that will fit me well, and i'm 6'3", 160 lbs, with 9% body fat.

thanks!

(P.S.- If you know of a good brand of t shirts which is not listed here, please tell me about it!)

Dior Homme- $310
[not seriously considering this, but just wanted to see if people really thought a t shirt was worth 300 bucks]

Sunspel- $67

i think the gap fitted T's aren't too bad. Im the the same as you 6'3 160. also just plain white or black T's i like the 3 pack calvin klein. there 30$ or you can find them at ross or tj maxx for 15$

I quite honestly prefer Hanes, Calvin Kelin, and Gap. Fit is very good, and they're very affordable. I mostly prefer darker colors, black, navy blue, or dark green, though I'll occasionally go with a white tee.

Not to say they're not worth it, but I personally would feel very weird about spending more than 20 bucks on a tee.

But above all, I would never ever buy a T-shirt with a company insignia on it. That is T-shirt-buying rule number one in my book.

oh yeah, i was looking at those earlier. they look fine but $42 is on the expensive side for non-designer-and-therefore-ridiculously priced basics.

I have a splendid mills hoodie and it's ridiculously soft. If you want a crazy soft T and have the $42 for it then SM isn't a bad way to go...don't know about the fit. The hoodie I have seems to be about a size larger than it's marked.

I'm going to check out the gap tees. I am always looking for better fitting tees. I find splendid mills to fit rather big. I'm normally a medium but a small in splendid. I don't like there to be a lot of slack in the sleeves.

I'd never buy a tshirt for 310 bucks. It's stupid. I would never spend that much money on something that has to be so frequently washed.

American Apparel is terrible, I can't believe they don't taper their t-shirts, it makes them look incredibly blousy while being too tight in the chest.

I really like Zara's t-shirts, they have 2% stretch in them. I sized up and at 6'2 they give me some extra length to work with (M to a L) without taking away any of the slimness in the tee.

Buy several different ones and then you will know which you prefer. I absolutely love American Apparel, but some hate them.
