Comfort, fades, durability?
Everyone knows the story that Levi's made it's first pairs of jeans out of hemp, read it here: http://www.reuseit.com/product-materials/hemp-natures-super-fiber.htm. Fun fact: they were brown, not indigo. Do you have photos? But I am not sure if they were pure hemp or a blended cotton.
Today you can find quality cotton - hemp blends from
- Italy: 40% hemp - 60% cotton
- and Japan: 55% hemp - 45% cotton: http://www.styleforum.net/t/322978/hemp-denim-for-sale
All in all, how do pure hemp (finest quality), pure cotton and their blends compare? Which would you chose if you have the opportunity?
