Compare new model of Margiela high tops to the old one

The black isn't the greatest picture, and in blue it doesn't look great. It's missing a piece on the side, that the design has had in previous models. Anyways thoughts compared to previous models?

i think they are the same design but they change the color and the materials from year to year.
