1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I agree, what's up with all the weird materials? Suede, wool, etc? I like common projects because the leather cleans up well and they look good after many wears....

"CP doesn't want everyone wearing it's shoe"

Not sure what this statement means, haha

CP makes x amount of shoes and people buy x amount of shoes.

it's a business, and people will buy as much as CP decides to make

unless by everyone you mean they only want a specific demographic to wear their shoe, in that case I think it's achieved by their price point. Those who like the shoe but don't want to spend retail cost will most likely opt out for a cheaper substitute like vans or chucks or purcells.

Might as well use this double-post for a quick question.... What's the best way to get denim stains off of those CPs? I heard regular toothpaste? Don't wanna screw up the leather though.

I've always had good results with the use of a magic eraser if you can get your hands on some at your local store
