yeah i've read a lot of pages but im still torn between a 40 or 41. i bought a pair of 41 desert boots but they were way too large so i was unsure how achilles fit.

If anyone has a new pair of white achilles low in 43 and wants to swap for a new 44, let me know. Going to see just how much these things can possibly stretch.

Does anybody have some black low top achilles laces they'd sell me? PM me if so........you usually always get two pairs, hopefully somebody can hook it up.

come on the leather is not as buttery as it was in the past, but these shoes hold up extremely well.

I have some achilles low from 2009 that I have abused. They've been stomped on at concerts, burnt (soles), soaked in water, etc, and still hold up really well. The nice part about the white leather is you can just bleach the fuckers too.

Best leather I've seen on CPs is the BBall Highs from 2009 as well. Buttery as hell.

The distressed derbies from 2010 have held up well, I've worn them here in winter and the heel fell apart, but leather wise they're in great condition. Here's a pic of them as well.

Worst leather I've seen on CPs is from the 2011 Summer achilles. It creased very easily and didn't look as nice as the all white, no gum sole pair. Still great shoes that can probably take a serious beating, but if you're going for the smooth buttery look it seems like CP has gone down a bit over the years.

Good post. I really like the aesthetics of CP (obviously), but I’m trying to figure out whether it’s worth spending that much money on a pair of sneakers. I don’t have much money, so I try to spend smartly.

^I'd look for something similar but not as expensive or wait for the sales. Cps are very cool and versatile but they look like like any other pair of sneakers so if i was you I'd get them after you bought some coler ones. If that makes sense lol

if you don't have much money to spend, CP is not the brand for you.
