I don't get CP non-sneaker footwear at all. why not just buy trickers or aldens? the leather CP uses on their dress shoes/officer boots is totally meh.

Co-signed. My take on CPs is that no one else really makes sneakers as good as theirs at a similar or lower price point. A bunch of people make better boots better than theirs at a lower price point. I don't think the gold stamp is worth the premium in this case.

Probably around $500, that seems to be where most of their boots are priced. I can agree that the quality of CP boots isnt the best but that I really like the profile of that boot; it is a very clean minimalist style. I know trickers and aldens get a lot of love but personally I am not into them. I will cop those CP's when then drop despite not being the best quality.

Dunno, you can get F + B's for less than that. Also, the CP officer boots were closer to $700 retail, and you've got a lot of options at that price point.

I don't think they will be priced at or over the $700 mark. They normally drop a couple pairs expensive fw boots around 600-650 but they are much more substantial than those work boots. The only CP's I have seen over 700 were the CP x Geller officer boots last year. The officer boots are always over 600 but for the current season they have ankle, chukka, and postal boots priced 350-550. I would guess that these boots will go for somewhere in there.
