Aren't sweetbreads a gland? I am not really sure. I may try them, not sure where or when but I am a little curious.
My wife eats kidney's when she finds them on a menu. She is more adventurous than me.

Okra can be slimey depending on the preparation. Maybe that is your turn-off.

I like okra breaded and fried or stewed with tomatoes and I order an okra dish at Indian Restaurants.

Since when is fortune cookie a Chinese thing, I have never heard of fortune cookie until I came to the States and ate some ****** Chinese food.
