Recently bought 3 non-iron shirts at Jos Bank part of their buy 1 get 2 free deal. Figured what do I have to lose. The main problem I ever had with their shirts is that they run about 10 sizes too big, even the tailored fit. Just for kicks, i cut some stitches and removed the breast pockets, washed them in hot water and put them in the drier on hottest setting for over an hour, and then removed and ironed them. Now they fit fine and I like them.

True story.

Nothing really, except I don't like how they look. Since i didn't want pockets and I was trying to shrink the shirt (including the needle holes), then it was the best time to do it.

Get them tailored to fit. Then you have 3 shirts you can beat up and get dirty if you have to, without worrying about ruining something nice. I don't think that it's a sin, it's almost a necessity.

I hate shirt pockets on dress shirts and have never ever found a need for them anyway. One of the best things about moving up to MTM and bespoke beyond fit is the ability to do away with them.

I just purchased 6 JAB slim fits from their traveler series. They fit just as nice as my BB slim fits and feel just fine.

Sin? Nope.

Nice shirts at a nice price? Yup.

Great, not the response I expected from everybody here, haha. From what I have read, the JAB and BB non-iron shirts are made in the same factory to nearly the same specifications. I have not tried the BB shirts myself though, but looking at the tags they are made in the same country.

I have 6 'slim fits' from BB (non iron) and 6 JAB 'tailored fit' travelers shirts.

Side by side they look exactly the same and they fit me the same way.

JAB can be a great deal whenever you catch a great sale.

I heard the BB will be having their 3 for $159 shirt sale on the 24th or right after Christmas.
