1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Hello Chris, is this custom made briefcase the same as your No. 2 Briefcase on your website which is priced at $550? What is the weight of the bag? What is the solution to the water stain issue? Will you provide some treatments before delivery?

No mine is a medium brown. I would have gotten the chestnut but that leather wasn't in stock at the time and I was impatient :)

I don't, but the Naragansett guy made briefcases in chestnut so you could probably find a pic or two floating around the forum.

Mine is from Whaler & Co. These guys hand make their leather. A number of features are optional. Mine is completely hand-stitched.

I've been trying to get a hold of Chris to order a briefcase but I haven't heard back. OP, are you still in touch with him?

Is it safe to say that Sawyer Cabinet Co. no longer makes briefcases?
