i was wondering what guys on SF thought about the comfort of a loafer vs a more traditional shoe such as a oxford/derby/monk?
its recieved wisdom that loafers are very comfortable. A loafer in my experience doesnt hug the foot like a traditional shoe so gives a a 'looser' feeling, but i find the apron stiching can change the way the vamp flexes and they dont give as much room in the toe box / area around the edge of the shoe due to the design.
what do you think?
