Colours for low contrast men

I've light skin, reddish hair, blue eyes, and I've always been told that blue suits me best, but I need to expand on that.

I'll hold up my hands and say I don't really understand colour theory, or at least it's not really aimed at my type.
I just wondering if people could offer ideas of what other colours work well? Thanks!
