I have seen baseball caps without logos and with colors like bright yellow worn in older movies with cardigans, etc. Most have a wider crown than the average ballcap (like a military officer's cap but not as wide) Does anyone ever wear this type of cap, and is there a specific name for it? I have heard of golf caps before. Is this what I am thinking of? Is there a specific place where these caps without logos and in bright colors are sold? I think of a casual spring outfit with a lightweight bright cardigan or sweater vest and bright linen shirt underneath and a colorful hat on top. White ducks and bucks or beige linen trousers/saddle shoes. I have a panama hat, but it can't add the color that a plain ballcap could. But is this advisable, or has the style become saturated and tacky since the 60's?
