Color suit for business

What color is best for consulting / banking and why?

There are MANY threads related to this. Navy and charcoal are the classic staple colors

I know. Couldn't find a poll in search though, and I was curious to see which one would win overall.

Navy is more versatile and elegant than charcoal.

I think Navy is over used. I would go for a Gray Suit.

I would say safe colors like solid blue and charcoal then go to pinstripes.
