I had a pair of shell cordovan brooks brothers around and I conditioned them with Saphir, after rubbing the product on the product changed color and carried the pigment of my brown shell Brooks Brothers with them? What happened? How can I solve this problem?

It likely removed old polish. Your pics don't see any pigment loss, though then again, the quality of the pictures is very poor so I can't tell. Can you try to send better pics?

Hello, I have stripped the shoe that has the hole with acetone to reveal a different color, maybe the previous owner tried to cover it up with leather paint as I didn’t know renovateur could strip finishes. The renovateur turned into a darker shade of red after I used them to polish the shoes. Anyway, I think this might turn into a shell cordovan project because I ordered some burgundy Saphir renovating cream to fill in the crack, I will see how it goes, and cover the sealed hole up with shoe cream.

here is the stripped shoe compared to the other one which is quite matte. I am pretty sure if I applied renovateur on that shoe and polished, some of the color will come off as well.
