I tend to do a full change-up every year or two, after I've grown weary of smelling the same fragrance for too long.

Currently, I alternate between Creed Himalaya, Calvin Klein Escape, and RL Safari.  All can be had for reasonable prices through reputable ebay sellers.

While I must agree with the contention that there is too much market hype with products such as Creed, I'm none the less attached to my Himalaya.  Like all Creed fragrances, however, it could use more staying power.

I haven't tried the specific Creed fragrances that have been referenced in this thread, but I have to say that my experience with the one that I have tried (Bois bu Portugal) hasn't been like this at all. It has more staying power than any other fragrance that I've used, and the fragrance doesn't vary with the length of time that it's been on.

Creed Green Irish Tweed, and I guess I don't sweat so much, because it stays all day. I also use the new Zegna for men and Kiton fragrances.

I only wear one fragrance: L'Anarchiste by Caron.

Not easy to find in shops and you will meet very few others wearing the same fragrance. Obscurity is good in this case.

I got a sample of Thierry Mugler's Cologne (it's just called Cologne) and it's the most awesome refreshing citrus/soapy clean scent. I highly recommend it if you like freshness. I could become addicted to it.

I would not recommend Creed Silver Mountain Water, i bought a bottle of this about 6 months ago when i first put it on it smelt wonderful but within 15 minutes the smell completly disappeared. I have heard other people say the same perhaps it just did not go with my skin type. I think Creed scents are over-priced and over hyped. I have just got a bottle of Trussardi Umo it costed less than a third of the price of Creed but last's nearly all day long i like getting my money's worth when it comes to buying scent.
