Yes - college football is back and all is right with the world!

How do I know this? Because, my wife just hit me with the "are you going to watch football all day?" question.

So far I've watched ASU-NAU (Thursday night), some of the Michigan-Vanderbilt game, most of the Cal-Tennessee game, the start of the USC-Arkansas game and I'm planning to watch Arizona-BYU later.

Luckily, she lets me get away with this for at least the first weekend!

EDIT - Oh yeah, I'm also flipping back and forth to the Notre Dame - Georgia Tech game.

I watched the Cal-Ten and ND-Tech game yesterday. I love college football!

Looking forward to the FSU-Miami game on Monday.

I was surprised that Vandy fielded 11 guys a side...

Now, Miami v. FSU, that's real football.

OSU looked real good against Texas. They seem to be the team to beat now. My Wolverines have a huge test this weekend against the Irish! Go Blue!

Rutgers - 24
Ohio - 7

First time the Scarlet Knights have started the season at 3-0 since 1981. I think it's going to be a good season.

One of my co-workers has the Sports Illustrated with the ND big three on the cover and I remember looking at it and thinking that those guys looked a little small.

As Keith Jackson used to say: Big quick guys will beat little quick guys, everytime.

I hate ND, but have huge respect for Charlie Weis.

I am shameless. I am a church organist, and this morning, I found at least a half dozen ways to insert parts of "The Victors" into the hymns and chants. "Champions of the West" fits very easily into many a tenor line.

Go Blue!
