I'm a full time college student and this is my every day bag. I spent 3 months looking at backpacks at every price point. I wanted something versatile, sturdy, and really good looking. This is the bag I chose, and I love it more every day. Girls fucking LOVE this bag for some reason. I get at least two girls every day come up and ask me about it. It's the most unlikely chick magnet I have ever owned. The design is great.

Last two are good but are a little bit too expensive IMO? (I can't judge you guys since I got a Makr for myself :embar: )

Thinking about getting this Chrome bag

as I have observed with my eyes how they refuse to die after 8 years of usage that included a car crash, ride in a down pour, brawl with rocks and walls.

The bag I posted is from a custom bagmaker from SuFu. That backpack is around $120+shipping

Pretty cool and seems like a decent price. What are the straps? Any leather details?

Here is the info he PM'd me:

    hi,

going off what i charged my friend for that bag (indigo wabash + suede), costing is as ff:

    wabash: $38
    suede: $4.50
    labor: $43
    zippers: $7
    zipper pulls: $3
    misc (gas, etc.): $25

comes out to 120ish? i'm in the philippines now too, so +ems, i don't know how much.

that's already pretty high because the price of wabash is here is crazy expensive (it's actually $25, but i need 1.5 yards to make the bag). cordura w/o pvc backing is about half the price of that.

let me know what fabric/color you're after so i can be more exact

if she doesn't have an etsy (i think that's the site) she should get one, looks like there's a decent amount of interest in her work

In case anyone is interested she just set up an etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/104797771/patchwork-rucksack

There's only one available right now but I think she will be putting more up soon. You can contact her through the website if you have any questions but I see her once in a while so you can ask me too.

For those in Toronto and want to see in person I think she has a couple bags at this popup shop here: http://www.blogto.com/events/57388 (store closes on 27th)

I love LAYERxlayer's new Aleutian Pack, it looks awesome.

I've also been highly considering a leather messenger bag, like one of Far Horizon Trader's 15" bags. Any thoughts?
