Everything I've seen on these came from one blog entry, so rather than paraphrasing it, I'll just copy/paste. This blog entry was originally posted here.

I had a chance to see the collection first hand at Project in Las Vegas and really liked what I saw. The worn-in looking shoes have great detailing, construction (Goodyear Welts, etc.) and are made from nice Italian leather. Looking at the samples at Project, I was especially drawn to the mocs (which can be worn with or without laces, I’m a laces type of guy myself) and the the brown leather boots. The inspiration for the new younger, cooler off-shoot from Cole Haan is drawn from the company’s 1920s Chicago roots. The line — which is mostly men’s but also includes some women’s — will be hitting stores this coming fall. The CRH collection will have a totally separate distribution strategy, so look out for it at better specialty stores. Some of my favorite styles after the jump.

Let's just hope quality of construction and leathers isn't as horrible as it is on Cole Haan. I could do without the overpricing as well. Opinions on the line? Does anyone else have any information about it? or more photos?

I'm also not sure why ACL called it the first attempt at dress shoes among American shoemakers' heritage collections. The shoes don't look particularly dressy, and Timberland Boot Company has some very similar models.

Nike is a bit too late for the heritage train.

Hmm, ACL writes these up, and CH advertises them heavily on ACL. Durr.

the toe looks like it was up somebody's hind end the way it's darker than the rest of the boot
