I bought those same shoes back in '97-'98. I never knew they were made by Cheaney. They wore well for a good while (lots of happy hours back then) then I forgot about them. I think with some leather conditioner and a good polish they'll be ready to wear again. I should probably get them resoled too.
Has Cole-Haan had any other Northampton company make their shoes?
