I started a thread here a month or so ago about who made my new Jil Sander Italy shoes and got few responses. So, one more try. I just got a pair of Cole Haans (off eBay this time) used, but in passable condition. I have Cole Haan boots made in Brazil (better than expected-vintage), I know they slept around with several reputable makers in Northampton, were made in Italy and finally, Nike and China. These shoes were made in the US, they are worn in but I like the last shape and they have rubber soles, good for walking to class in raining Seattle weather. Alden, old Stacy Adams, AE, original Nordstrom, J&M? Who made them? Here is a link. Thank you!

Maybe. I am pretty sure they are pre-Nike. If they were made in Maine, who made them?
