Cognac Shoes with Khaki. Pics Included.

This is my first time venturing out of black or dark brown shoes. I picked up with cognac wing tips. I just wanted some input on this shade of khaki with cognac. Also, would grey or navy pants work?

I think the color combo is fine. However I personally do not care for dress shoes with chinos...as I usually would pair chinos with boat shoes or something really casual. But that's just me.
