What brands do you wear?

Not bothered really, but if a crocket jones is £450-550 and an RM Williams is same range for a chinchilla, then wondering if worth it .... not to forget that for the same money I am getting a VASS !!!!!
But this caught my eyes and I like the color and model....

CU is great, I own several of their shoes, mostly MTO due to my palmipede feet. I have been eyeing the Renoir for a while.

I just hope it does not creese badly and the leather doesn't get damaged quickly, someone said their leather gets spots quickly, and being a mustard I got no option beside neutral cream/wax ....

I don't have the model you are interested in purchasing. I have the William cognac calf city oxford. CU is a good value brand. I prefer my Vass oxfords over CU. Vass is an excellent value. CU customer service is excellent. Others probably could share how CU compares to C & J and Rm Williams.

Is Cobbler Union worth the extra £80.00 Import duty to the UK? I ordered the Renoir in mustard, so Total cost is going to be almost £400.....

Did you order from the US store or from their European one, located in Spain?
I am not sure, but prices could differ depending on the item's origin.

I ordered from the EU site. And although shipping was free, the tax duty was equivalent to 26%.....

You say select a half size smaller than normal shoe size. Do you mean like dress shoe size or are you saying the typical half size down from normal sneaker size? If I'm a 6.5 in AE, am I a 6 in CU?
