So I was at Edward Green today, and there is a place called New and Lingoowd right across from it inside Piccadilly Arcade. This place offer installing sunk metal for 45pound.

Have anyone tried them, are the guys there any good, and is 45pound a pretty decent price (or you don't have much choice anyway, that was like the first non factory place I find to install sunk metal).

If I got EG and CJ shoes I will probably just ask the factory to install them (the only CJ I bought so far was on rubber sole, so pointless, and the EG I had was bought in US, haven't thought about install sunk metal yet). I wanted to experiment with a pair of Master Grenson from Paul Stuart first.

Side note, I was at Barker today as well, so it turns out they only sell Barker Black oversea, but not in England

Try Kokos. They do contract work for Crockett & Jones (and probably other firms as well).

The last time I had those sunken toe plates done (three or four years back), I paid maybe 12 or 15 GBP.
(They used to be 10 quid for quite a few years).
