Do some manufacturers use wax to smooth out their sole edges? If so, what's the name of the product, and where do you buy it?Originally Posted by rebel222

Yes, they do.
I think they are called yankee wax in US. Is a triagle tube shape. They just have three color IIRC. You can find it at any shoe repair supplies shop.
