I have Papworth briefcase, but now want to reduce the size and weight of EDC. Therefore I am looking at a combination of a men's clutch and a folding holdall for EDC: clutch for carrying iPad, phones, chargers, umbrella, Filofax, keys and folded holdall, and holdall for carrying extra things from work, hand luggage on planes and short weekend stays.
My search so far suggests that LV Practical and one of Mont Blanc men's clutches might suit me. However, I wonder how well they are made. Traditional LV seem to be really well made, but too big when folded. And I don't know much about quality of Mont Blanc bags. Any other makers I should consider? I looked at Filson, LL Bean, Orvis, but don't find anything special. Leather Gurkha and Mulberry seem to be too big when folded.
Thanks
