That's the exact one! I'm really jonesin for a moto leather jacket like the ToJ ones here:
    http://toj-gallery.com/main.php?g2_itemId=6313

And thought that one was pretty nice. But it doesn't look that great in person though, and I don't really like navy, would prefer black or brown.

    Did it feel good?

I noticed it right away on the mannequin but am in the habit of ignoring CM new releases, only taking note so I can pick it up on sale for later lol. Did give it a closer look but besides the $1K price that made it an almost immediate back-away-slowly item, I honestly just don't enough about leathers to give you much detail there. It looked fine, but what do I know. I didn't think the liner looked very durable, that's about my only conclusion.

    That's helpful.

I also only look at new releases to decide if there's anything I want when it's hit sale. I'll check it out when it gets to the Eaton Centre, but I've never paid full price for something from CM and don't see myself doing that.

Tons of stuff on sale at the moment. I tried on a couple button downs today and they were around 30-50 bucks. Funny enough I don't have any blue or blue stripe button down which are staples, but I"m broke so

I picked up a pair of those bright purple colored pants recently since I remember liking them a while 'back and was waiting for them to hit $19. Just opened up my bin of summer clothes and damnit I already had a brand new pair of these tucked away from end of summer last year. At least I'm consistent.

I want to get some shirts, but I've never been big on the quality of CM. Still, at least they go on sale. J Crew seems to be on sale only online, which I hate.

I'm not picky when it comes to clothes ( I know this is SF) but as long as it fits well that's 99% that matters to me. 95% of of wardrobe is from CM and I have a few items from J crew and J crew factory. I can tell the difference with J crew factory quality but I honestly don't really care and no one else does either as it fits the exact same.

Club Monaco makes up all my casual attire while my work clothes is MTM dress shirts. No way would I pay retail for J crew or CM though.

PS the mac coat just went on sale, it's not on the site but I saw it at the STC location

I'd say paying full price on CM isn't necessary, may not be a good way to spend every dollar,
but when they are on marked down + extra %, its a good quality for $ you pay.

I tried all brands but only CM fits me right-on for tops, I only buy when they are on marked down and I usually stack student discount, or wait for extra %,
Still searching for affordable brand that fits me right-on for bottoms tho.

The mac would be an easy buy for me if it wasn't for those horrible patch pockets. I really hate them because I would have loved to buy that as a spring piece of outerwear, but it's ruined it for me.

The made in America topcoats used to be $950, but are now $600 with all sizes in stock. If it dropped a couple hundred more then I might consider it.

Was at Club Monaco on Friday to pick up a shawl cardigan with the extra percentage off this weekend in the US. Noticed they have a Barbour jacket called the Tailored Sapper which looked nice if you are looking for a field jacket type jacket. Was definitely slim. I am usually a small in Barbour and I tried on the medium which fit well. MSRP on it was $399.

Here it is on the Barbour site:

    X-post from the Rancourt thread.

Will ClubMonaco.ca ship to the US? They appear to have inventory in a Rancourt shoe I've been eyeing that has sold out in my size on the US site.

Has anyone seen the Grey Camo Davis Chinos available in store? There aren't anymore men's Club Monaco stores here in Texas and they're sold out online so I was wondering if someone could help me proxy a pair. Here is the link to the chinos but I need the Davis fit: http://www.clubmonaco.ca/product/index.jsp?productId=28715166
If anyone could help me out please let me know, thank you.

Has anyone bought their dress shirts? More so the spread collar dress shirts? I'm curious because I've always just purchased their casual button down.

    Is the collar flimsy?

They will not, the US store ships from a warehouse location in the US, the Canadian store ships from somewhere in Mississauga. They will not transfer stock between them and you cannot get shipping to the US from the Canadian store or vice versa.

    Believe me, I have tried.

Thanks for your reply. I presumed that was the case.

I'll contemplate for a few days. If I still think I have to have them, maybe I'll arrange some sort of proxy arrangement.

Tried on the Golden Bear moto jacket.. love the fit and style, and it's well made. But a bit steep at $1k+ imo.

It will go on sale, patience. No one is going to be rushing in store for it.
