Wearing the Kennedy right now and it's just a straight cut. I prefer the Davis no question, it's slim fit without being too slim. The Connor is EMO tight

I may have to just go to the store.... I would not have guessed that at all. From the pix the Kennedy definitely appears to be the slimmer of the two, but you say it's just the opposite. OK.. thank you!

I have a pair in the Davis fit, but I would prefer them to be more tapered. The Connor fit looks a bit too slim, though I wouldn't go as far as to call them "emo".

I just got a pair of Connor chinos and returned them. I agree that they are emo tight, at least in the same waist size as the Kennedy or Davis. The fit pictures on CM's website don't really convey that IMO.

CM doesn't sell size 29 shorts and I haven't been able to find any slimmer fitting shorts elsewhere. So I bought some Davis chinos in size 29 and did a 10.5" hem to make them into shorts. Opinions? Too slim?

Thanks for the opinions. I hemmed them the same length as the other CM shorts I have knowing that I can always hem shorter if I want. But after wearing these a couple times to get a feel for them, I kinda think they are too skinny for shorts. I believe CM's "Maddox" shorts are just lopped off Kennedy Chinos. And while the Kennedys are too full fitting for my taste as chinos, I think that the same fit as shorts is really nice.

I also have the maddox, and they're def fuller fitting than the normal CM clothes.

I don't think your shorts are too skinny, I have a pair of other shorts that are similar to yours. They look great, enjoy em

YMMV but the Eaton Center location has Aether outerwear at steep discount. An entire rack in various sizes too.. Not familiar with Aether, but reg price was $825 and it was on sale for $260.

I saw stuff that was 450 for 250, but nothing as drastic as 600 off. Of course if you didn't need it in the first place, then no discount is worth it (although I really wanted the fall line jacket).

Tried on the sateen bomber. Material feels weird and crinkley--I did not like it. I'd say it's worth maybe 50 dollars, not $198

I remember this. I did get it because of you, but ended up giving it to my cousin.

You're probably right I"ll wait it out.

Has anyone been to the CM at Yorkdale in Toronto? Is there a 70% off sale there?
