Which store in Toronto usually has the largest sale section anyways? I was in NYC a few days ago, and the Flatiron store's sale section blew me away.

I'd say Eaton but I haven't been to the new Bloor location store after it re-opened...

They don't really have much of a sale section right now since they probably sent off all the old inventory to other stores prior to the renovation.

Well today there was the 30% off sale, so quite a bit was on sale. I went again and almost bought something, but the store only has 1 mens change room, so I walked to the Eaton Centre, where of course they didn't have what I was looking for.

I thought it was just 30% off already reduced items, and most items were not on sale?

I was actually pretty impressed with the new mens section at the Bloor location.

+1

It's like a small oasis in the sartorial wasteland known as Toronto. That peacoat fits way better than the slim Schott I tried on too. Was tempted.. oh so tempted. :embar:

Eaton's probably has the largest sales section. Bloor's definitely the nicest store (I'm really impressed actually) but while they do have the made in USA stuff and some special boots/shoes, they don't have much in the line of sales stuff.

also to keep in mind, 30% off is good, but really on a $20-50 item, the 20% student card always works so you're saving a few bucks. Now worth fighting for items and standing in line for that IMO.

20% student card is fine if you're a student, or still have your student card. I'm not, and I don't, so I rely on the stores to have these types of sales.
