I have a feeling American stores have lower prices than Canadian stores.
Doubt it, I find shirts marked down to $19 in TO as well. I think the $59 is only the first markdown -- the price tags were still marked in blue ink when I was there a few days ago, and not red which is usually the bargain basement prices.

Checked out the CM in SF last night. Kop'd the light jacket w/ corduroy collar, marked down to $79 + additional 20% for student discount. (score!) Note there were a few racks in the back with the jackets, blazers, cardigans, sweaters, shirts that looked like from last season. Nothing was marked down on the tag, but they certainly were on sale. $19 stuff didn't have much selection, just some shirts/polos $39 stuff had a variety of shirts, but mostly washed and linen and stuff, wasn't interested $59 stuff had a bunch that I liked, but wasn't going in at that price--chambrays, oxfords, dress shirts--would kop near the $19-$39 price point + 20% additional off for SD. No yellow rain jacket in sight.
They asked to see my student ID, but if they had looked closely, they would have seen it was my wife's old ID from last decade...ymmv

Strange that the fireman's jacket is still around anywhere. I got mine, marked down to $79, last fall I think.

yep, that one, but mines in blue. Slim fit, raglan sleeves, TTS. There were roughly one of each size still at the store, after discount and tax ~$69.

Yea I guess that was the fireman's jacket I saw then. It had no original tag, just a handwritten one that said field jacket I think. It's a nice jacket but the fit looked off on me.

Thanks. I think the SF one is a flagship store. I've been there once and it has a lot more stuff than the San Jose one.

    Some recent CM purchases...

    - 3 Slim Fit OCBD shirts (paid $39 ea, marked down from $59 ea)
    - "Kenneth" Cardigan (paid $39, marked down from $98)
    - "Holden 2 Button Pullover" (paid $39, marked down from $98)
    - Slim Fit Dress Shirt, best "slim fit" dress shirt that fits almost perfect OTR (paid $19, marked down from $89!)
    - 2 pair of "Davis Lightweight Chinos", these are a slim fit and are actually slim. Seriously one of the best fitting pair of pants I've ever put on. These weren't marked down but I didn't mind paying full price since they fit so well.
    - Cotton "Summer Tie"

Used my "student discount" too. [IMG]

Club Monaco seems to have sold off most of their sale items, as most of the stuff I saw today was still quite expensive. A chambray shirt was $99, marked down from $138. Most other shirts were $59 and up.

Found one near me which is pretty exciting but nothing was on sale, I'll probably go back later in the summer to check again.

$69.50, so $55.60 if you have a student ID.

picked up a couple pairs today. Fit is good, better I'd say than the same fit (Davis) in regular weight, especially in the top block... or at least the fabric drapes better Also, you can take advantage of the free hemming in combination with the student discount, so that's another $10-12/pair saved.

Was at the Lincoln Park store on Sunday and picked up a shirt for $39. Saw the Davis fit dress pants, but wasn't about to pay full price for them. How is the fit on those? I have a pair of the Wright fit, but the rise on those pants is super high.
