Just picked up four pairs of cords and a heavy twill shirt for $9 each. Can't possibly complain about anything for that price.

I went to the SF store last weekend and nothing was that cheap. I guess it's only that cheap b/c your store is closing.

Has anyone bought their chinos? Are their pants true to size?

    It's not exactly common though.

I even asked an employee and he said usually never happens.

common maybe not but its not unheard of, and there's almost always some stuff marked down to $19 or so. Also they have a tendency to mark down new stuff randomly... I picked up a spring unstructured cotton blazer last week that was marked $188 and had been reduced to $129 already (plus student discount bringing it down under $110). Hadn't be out for even a month and already it was down to almost 1/2 off

Mediahound I saw some of their stuff in the Santa Clara location was mispriced I think. I picked up a flannel marked as $29 but it rang up at the register for $9. I wonder if the other shirts they had marked as $39 were $19 as someone in this thread gave a heads up on the sale.

I tried on a pair of their dress pants before and bought a pair of their slim straight previously. They are not TTS. I would go down 1 or 2 sizes depending on how slim you are. I went down 1 size on the slim straight jeans.

Just picked up a spring unstructured blazer, wool grosgrain cardigan, and suede clarks for only $220 with the student discount
I'm probably gonna be picking up a lot of stuff here now that I've toned down my spending/ have bills and what not to pay

I don't see the $9 that often but $19 is pretty common for shirts and $29 for pants. I've picked up stuff that retailed for $129, $149, and $249 for like $50 or less all the time.

student discount applies to sale stuff (so its pretty much infinitely more usefull than jcrew's student discount...). Though as you would expect you can't stack it w/ other percentage-type discounts (ex- 30% off all sales items).
