Hey guys I am new to posting on this forum but I have been prowling around it reading posts and advice for a couple months now. Anyawyas I was wondering if anybody has run across any specific websites which tend to cater to the larger individual? i am 6'6" and about 235lbs. Its not so much the girth i am concerned about (36 waist) as it is the length. I found that nordstroms carries some pretty long jeans and pants (7fam makes a a great bootcut jean with a 36 inseam)... i think i might get flamed for that though. I have countless american apparel t-shirts and button downs because their length is perfect. It seems so hard to find clothes for my size not because people dont cary them but because they simply dont make them. I called the APC store in hollywood and they said that their new standards have something like a 35 inseam so I cam going to check them out this weekend. I guess this is kind of a random request but does anybody have any sites or brands that are know to make longer fitting clothes that could possibly help?

thanks

You might check out Lands' End. Their long rise pants have hemming options going up to 38 inches (uncuffed) and 36 inches (cuffed). I just got a pair of their "Year Rounder" lightweight wool dress pants. They impressed me as a solid value for the comparatively low price. The only other pants I've gotten from them were some cotton casual slacks at a closeout price. I thought these were excellent, especially as they were only $19.95, as I recall.

well, i have the same problems, except that i have a bit more girth than you. i'm 6'4 and....pretty fat. when i find things long enough, they're not wide enough. when i find things wide enough, they're not long enough. i have this problem in shirts and pants. and, i wear a size 14 which not that many people always carry. for these problems, ebay is sometimes your friend because when you bid on something in your size, you'll probably get it because not many people are the same size as you. i haven't bought anything from any of these sites, but i have checked them on a regular basis and i think they'll suit you well. www.rochesterbigandtall.com http://www.ralphlauren.com/family/in...seeallbig&tall
