interesting....wonder if anyone has ever seen this book, or the illustrations?

Problem is, i don't speak italian and can't figure out how to even order the book. thought there might be some interesting photos, illustrations, etc. for those of you who speak italian.

Amazon lists a book called The Abruzzi Tailor's Workshop -- might it be a translation?

Could be! "Sarto" translates as "Tailor" or "dressmaker" and Abruzzo is a geographic region. Although I think the Italian Title translates as "Tailoring from Abruzzi". Could be wrong, and really not an expert in Italian.

Edit: The writers are listed as the same!

Sarti is the plural of 'sarto'. It means 'Tailors of Abruzzo'.

The book promises to give insight into the history of the school of tailoring in Abruzzo, basically claiming that everyone from Caraceni to the House of Brioni actually originated in Abruzzo and then moved to other places.

Talks about how a style that was born in the 19th century evolved in the 1920s into a global look.

Seems like it could be interesting.
